Barossa potter Kate Jenkins

'Katespots' pottery studio is situated to the north of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. It is here, potter Kate Jenkins, using South Australian sourced clay, works with her kickwheel and gas fired kiln to create her unique reduction-fired stoneware. Kate has designed and created her range with styles and glazes influenced by British Studio Pottery and traditional Japanese ceramics. Each handcrafted piece is made with the belief that they maintain the handprint of the maker, creating a special connection between the user and the maker.
